I at least made a good breakfast, strawberry oatmeal! I cut the strawberries, added a bit of brown sugar, honey, and vanilla extract. I thought it might be a bit plain but it was actually pretty good! So I lazed around, thought about how I SHOULD work out, but instead looked at some old photos and uploaded them on Facebook. Why hide my past? I actually did stuff that I forgot about thanks to my crappy memory and I don't want to loose that, it's part of me! Loosing my memory is like loosing my identity so I should hold on to that...
Anyways I finally could not sit still so I went for a walk. Just about a mile (round trip) to the park. No soft ball games or creepy dudes in the woman's bathroom to bug me so I just relaxed. It was a little warm today so I did not feel like moving around too much. I called a friend, we talked, and then, I left. Nice and simple. I should mention, when I get tired from walking I feel my back arching backwards, is this my muscles tensing up or my body over compensating for balance? I have no clue but it sucks!
Hopefully I can sleep well tonight and start my routine up tomorrow! Fingers crossed!

ReplyDeleteAnd - living in Sweden, my problem is the opposite from yours.
Ice! It´s very hard to stay on your feet with weak legs and bad balance, trying to walk on slippery ice!
So, I don´t get out much........
I understand, trying to walk on hardwood floors and tiles with socks and spasticity feels like walking on ice, it's horrible!
